I turned from commercial work to documentary photography because it forces me to confront myself how I see, and why.
I follow the moment until it reveals itself. The act is closer to play than labor, yet it is play with consequences.

My past in the commercial world taught me discipline: how to shape light with precision, how to hold a frame with rigor.
I use these skills not to decorate, but to build images that demand attention.
Beauty is not sweetness. Beauty is a trap.
When light and composition are exact, the viewer cannot look away, and in their gaze, understanding begins to form.

Even when the story is brutal or filled with despair, the image must seduce before it wounds.
An ugly photograph lets the viewer escape too easily. A beautiful one keeps them there, suspended, forced to reflect.

I am open to collaborations and assignments where there is time to go deep, where ideas carry weight, and where beauty is not an accessory but a necessity.
